Carrie Lavargna, Esq.

Founder & Board Certified

Carrie Lavargna is a Florida Bar Board Certified attorney with over 40 years of legal experience. Her primary focus today is probate law — helping families navigate the legal process with care, clarity, and compassion.

A native Floridian, Carrie has deep roots in the state and its legal community. She earned her undergraduate degree from Florida State University and her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where she was a member of the Florida Law Review. She later served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Miami School of Law, teaching courses in banking, legal writing, and real estate law — earning the school’s distinguished “Ibis” status for faculty service.

Carrie began her legal career at a national law firm in Philadelphia before returning to Florida to work in the real estate department of White & Case. She went on to serve as in-house counsel for a regional land development and environmental consulting firm. In 2004, she opened Lavargna Law in Stuart, Florida, and has built her practice on principals of integrity, legal excellence, and personal service.

She remains an active member of The Florida Bar and the Martin County Bar Association, and has held leadership roles on the Board of Directors for the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast, the Executive Board of the Justice Major B. Harding American Inns of Court, and as Past President of both the Martin County Estate Planning Council and Preferred Professionals of Martin County.

Carrie is proud to practice alongside her son, Anthony (“Tony”) Lavargna, and to serve generations of clients who value a personal, principled approach to law.
